United Bank Charitable Foundation Donates $5,000 to Support Palm Project

The United Bank Charitable Foundation has donated $5,000 to the Baldwin County Education Coalition in support of Palm Project, helping provide essential resources to students across Baldwin County Public Schools.

Palm Project is a county-wide initiative that helps ensure every public school care closet is stocked with items students may need throughout the school year, including school supplies, hygiene products, clothing, individually packaged snacks and other basic necessities.

The program serves students across 44 public schools in Baldwin County, with needs identified by school counselors and social workers. By helping meet those basic needs, Palm Project works to remove barriers that can affect a student’s ability to arrive at school ready to learn.

Each school year, Palm Project distributes approximately 17,000 essential items to students throughout the county.

The Baldwin County Education Coalition is grateful to the United Bank Charitable Foundation for investing in local students and supporting a program designed to make sure no child has to go without the essentials they need to succeed.
