Terry Burkle is a founding member of the Baldwin Education Coalition and has served as Executive Director since 2013. With more than 25 years of nonprofit leadership experience, she has dedicated her career to strengthening public education and building partnerships that create opportunities for students and educators.
Under Terry’s leadership, the Coalition has expanded its impact through scholarships, educator recognition, community partnerships, and initiatives such as the Palm Project. She is passionate about bringing the community together to invest in public education and helping ensure every Baldwin County student has access to the resources and opportunities they need to succeed.

Phillippi Pyles serves as the Baldwin County Education Coalition’s Operations Director, where she leads much of the day-to-day work of the Palm Project, the Coalition’s initiative providing essential resources to students in need.
From managing inventory and order fulfillment to coordinating with schools and writing grants, Phillippi helps ensure school Care Closets remain stocked with the items students need most. She also manages the annual Charity Chukkers Polo Tournament benefiting the Palm Project, helping turn community generosity into meaningful resources for Baldwin County students.

Partner Foundations
Our partner foundations serve as vital champions within their individual school feeder patterns, working closely with students, educators, and families to address the unique needs of their local communities. Through targeted initiatives, fundraising efforts, and hands-on support, these foundations create meaningful opportunities that directly impact classrooms and student success. In partnership with the Coalition, they play a critical role in strengthening education across Baldwin County and help ensure every school benefits from both local dedication and a shared, county-wide vision.
Central Baldwin Education Foundation
CBEF’s mission is to enhance, enrich, and support the educational experience of all public school students in the Central Baldwin area by providing support and resources to supplement educational programs and activities. The organization has served children in Robertsdale, Silverhill, Elsanor, Rosinton, and Loxley since 2008.
Fairhope Educational Enrichment Foundation
The Foundation holds that every child has the right to an excellent education, and investment in the Fairhope public schools is an investment in the Fairhope community. Since 1996, FEEF has provided a model of quality enrichment programming that has inspired other local education foundations across Baldwin County.
North Baldwin Coalition for Excellence in Education
Formed in 2008, the NBCEE awards teacher grants, conducts summer enrichment programs, and offers financial support for the North Baldwin schools, including: Baldwin County High, Bay Minette Middle, Bay Minette Intermediate, Perdido, North Baldwin Center for Technology, and Bay Minette, Stapleton, Delta, and Pine Grove elementary schools.

SEEDS | Daphne's Education Foundation
SEEDS’ mission is to promote a lifelong love of learning among the children of Daphne by providing enrichment opportunities at school and in the community and by advocating for educational improvements and innovation. Established in 2005, SEEDS serves students in the five Daphne public schools and at Christ the King Catholic School.
Spanish Fort Education Enrichment Foundation
The Foundation was established in 2002 to inspire the power of our community to enrich and support education for all Spanish Fort public school children. Teacher/Student Grants, Clemons-Imle Scholarships, and Scholars Bowl are a few of the programs sustained by SFEEF, along with ongoing encouragement for excellence in education.
South Baldwin Chamber Foundation
As the education and workforce development arm of the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce, the South Baldwin Chamber Foundation’s mission is to enhance lives through programs and partnerships that enrich education, develop leaders, and better our community. Established in 2003, SBCF serves the communities of Bon Secour, Elberta, Foley, Josephine, Lillian, Magnolia Springs, and Summerdale.
